Today it was all about the gratitude. On my Nana’s birthday I am grateful for the absolutely irreplaceable presence she has and always will have in my life. She told me how grateful she is – for her ‘every-day’. Hearing it from her, knowing how much she struggles – carrying on her shoulders all the problems of mine, my family’s and… the world’s, meant so much. Somehow lighter, not quite as crushed by (what she calls) the ‘daily cross’. Hundred years is not enough. Live long, live strong, live happy Nana!
